SCG Kids ministry is committed to providing babies through fifth-grade kids an age appropriate environment where your child is learning about God through FUN and CREATIVE ways! Our goal is to lead kids to know Jesus and learn to share His love.

NEW TO SCG KIDS?

Your first stop is our First Time Family Reserved Parking located directly in front of the KIDS Building during weekend services. Once you’re parked, a host will escort you to the KIDS Building Welcome Center to help get you started on our safe and secure check-in process. It is our pleasure to show you the building and make sure you feel comfortable before you drop your child off to their assigned room. Don’t forget to pick up your free gift too!

First Aid Kits with Epi-Pen lock box storage ability in each ministry area.
Mandatory Fingerprinting and Background Checks for staff and volunteers.
Electronic check-in systems with barcoded claim tag pick-up procedures.
Mid-service parent/guardian paging solutions via texting when needed.
Annual CPR Certification and Epi-Pen training for SCG KIDS staff.
Updated Child Safety Evacuation Rosters for each ministry area.

Building lock down protocol fifteen minutes into every service.

Baby Dedication

NURSERY (0-2.5 YEARS)

Our Nursery has been strategically designed to give you as a parent peace of mind when entrusting your baby in our care.  While you enjoy weekend service, it is our goal to provide personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Nursery rooms have been divided according to monthly ages in order to ensure the specialized attention your baby deserves.  Please feel free to bring a diaper bag along with you to check-in if you would like us to have specific supplies, we will make sure to store it safely and securely until you return.

 

Babies: 0-9 months
Crawlers: 10-15 months
Toddlers: 16-29 months

Location: The Nursery is located right next to the Main Auditorium Courtyard.

PRESCHOOL (2.5-5 YEARS)

Preschool is the beginning to colorful interactive learning for your child. While with us they will sing worship, hear a fun and lively bible message, interact with dedicated leaders, and participate in exciting crafts projects. As curiosity remains at the forefront of their minds, it is our job to creatively communicate the meaning and love of Jesus at a level in which they can begin to understand and relate to.

Preschool rooms are divided according to ages:
Room 2: 2.5 years - 3 years
Room 3: 3 years - 4 years (must be potty-trained to enter into Room 3)
Room 4: 4 years - 5 years
Room 5: 5 years – TK
 Location: First Floor of the KIDS Building.
 

 

 

ELEMENTARY (K-5TH GRADE)

We have found that our elementary kids like to have LOTS OF FUN. That’s why we have intentionally crafted our programming to be highly energetic and relational during this life stage.  Our goal is to help kids grow and know God at a deeper and more personal level during this time.  Our avenues of communication are through Bible stories, upbeat worship, icebreaker games, and small group time.  While they make new friends and learn more about Jesus, it is our hope that they might reach a point to decide to fully commit their life to Christ.
Elementary rooms are divided according to Theaters:
K-1 Theater: Kindergarten & 1st Grade
2-3 Theater: 2nd Grade & 3rd Grade
4-5 Theater: 4th Grade & 5th Grade

 Location: Second Floor of the KIDS Building.

CHAMPIONS CLUB

Champions Club is a place for special needs children/adults ages 4 and older. The rooms were created to meet the physical, mental and spiritual needs of the special needs individual. We will be teaching about Jesus using a curriculum. Your child will have a one on one volunteer to assist them through their time at Champions Club. We meet during the 9:00am & 10:30am service every Sunday.

To help you with the process, please print out the Champions Club application and complete prior to checking in your child on Sunday.
