WHY DO WE DO SUMMER CAMP?

Throughout history, God has chosen to communicate with people using outdoor settings. Summer Camp gives kids a chance to get out of their daily routine and to invite their friends to do the same. Here, they can connect with God and with each other. So, in this “wilderness” setting, kids will have an opportunity to think about their lives and be able to start living the abundant life of Christ.

WHERE IS SUMMER CAMP?

We will be taking 4th–5th graders (as of Fall 2026) to Angeles Crest Christian Camp. The trip will take around two hours, in a fully loaded charter bus (including reclining seats, TVs, and a bathroom). For information on the camp, please click here.

CAN MY CHILD BE IN THE SAME CABIN WITH A FRIEND?

You are guaranteed to be in the same cabin with at least one of your buddies that you put down when you register. Cabins are formed according to birth sex.

IS THERE FINANCIAL AID?

The first step is to guarantee your child’s spot for camp by registering and paying the non-refundable deposit. Please note there is NO WYWTC available if camp is less than two weeks away.

The second step is to email Taylor Gayer to get the WYWTC form.

This is like a school fundraiser where you go out and get “sponsors” (grandparents, teachers, coaches, neighbors, aunts, uncles, etc.) to sponsor you by the hour or give you a one-time gift to help you go to camp. Then you work it off at home or around your neighborhood, church, etc.

CAN I SEND SNACKS AND TREATS FOR THE CAMP COUNSELORS/LEADERS?

We would love to provide some snacks for our wonderful volunteer leaders/counselors to help keep them energized to minister to your kids all week long! Please consider donating some of their favorite snacks (individually wrapped packs):

  • Granola Bars
  • Oreos / Cookies
  • Pretzels
  • Cheez-Its
  • Goldfish
  • Sodas: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper & Root Beer
  • Water Bottles

Just drop the goodies by our offices anytime during our weekend services with a note that says “for Kids Summer Camp” before July 10, 2026.

 


SUMMER CAMP DETAILS 

 

Where do I check in and pick up my child?
Check-in will begin @ 11:00am on Friday, July 10th in front of the Warehouse on the
Cerritos campus.
Please make sure to feed your little camper before they get to check-in

Pick-up will be @ approximately 12:45 pm on Sunday, July 12th
