We are a covenantal model preschool. SCGCP requires that at least 80% of the students attending the program be from families who are actively involved at SCG Church (attending weekend service in-person on a regular basis and growing in their faith to build community). If space and capacity permit within the 20% ratio, we require that the family follows the mandatory requirements:

• At least one parent is a faithful follower of Christ.
• The Family is actively involved in another church.
• Receipt of a Pastoral Reference from The Family’s Home Church indicating activity level.
• Both Parents agree to SCG’s Statement of Faith.

Yes! SCGCP is licensed through the California Department of Social Services (License number: 304-371-688) for up to 54 children per day. Our ratio is 1 teacher to every 12 students or 1 teacher with a qualified aide to 18 children. Children must be 2 years old to attend. Our program accepts children ages 2-5/TK.

We have a full day (8:30-5:30) and half day (8:30-12:00) schedules available. And, we have daily (Monday-Friday), three day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and two day (Tuesday & Thursday) options available. 

Tuition is billed on a month to month basis and depends on the basic service (program option) that is selected during the application process. Families will set up a FACTS Family Portal account where they will access current amounts due and make payment. 

January 1, 2016, SB 277 mandates all California school children be current on specified vaccines prior to enrollment in preschool. The law eliminate the Personal Belief Exemption, but does recognize a medical exemption signed by the child's physician. To maintain compliance with state law, all students must be up to-date on all vaccines required by SB 277 or submit a medical exemption; no exceptions will be accepted.
