We believe that blessing and caring for others is a calling on the life of every Christian and we have seen our SCG family live that out time after time. Our friends and partners at Hope of Life in Guatemala need our help this Christmas! After a harsh year of hurricanes, they have been busy rebuilding their hospital so they can continue to perform surgeries for children in need. Just this week, a baby girl named Santa arrived. She is one month old, weighs only 5lbs, and is in need of surgery. She is one of many on the waitlist for surgery but cannot receive it until our partners raise more funding for equipment and supplies. That's where we want to help! Our mission is called Operation Santa and we want to raise $134,000 this Christmas for Hope of Life in Guatemala. Hope of Life regularly travels to the mountains where indigenous people live and rescue malnourished children who otherwise would not receive the medical treatment they need. Santa was rescued just this past week from an indigenous village in the mountains. She is one month old and weighs only 5lbs. She is the 5th child to be born into her family. If Hope Of Life receives funding, they will be able to give her a surgery in January.
