Hume Ponderosa, located in Hume Lake, California, is the original camp location for Hume camps. One of the many things we love about Hume Lake is the opportunity for your student to get away from the distractions of the world around them and experience the amazing opportunities that camp has to offer.
When students attend camp, they will hear the Gospel preached, be challenged through scripture, engage in authentic worship, and grow in their relationship with God. They will also be given the opportunity to bond with their SCG youth community through fun activities such as competitive and fun recreation, running the Gauntlet, doing the Bike Jump, and dominating in Kajabe Kan Kan, enjoying the lake and other super fun camp activities.
If you allow it, a week at Hume Ponderosa can and will change your student's life forever. We look forward to heading up to camp with you this summer!

Cost:$1,200
- Final day to pay for Hume Lake is May 23rd.
SUPER SENIORS - We are allowing you to go, however there will be a special process for you! You will have to go to an interview process and you cannot sign up until we open it to you! So keep an eye out for that announcement! And if you are a super senior (graduating senior of 2025) who is interested in going through this process, talk to pastor Matt on Wednesday nights at youth! You are allow to register under the super senior selection that will let us know that you are interested and is the first step for the interview process.

Must provide a $250 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot
Deposit/Cancellation Policy
1. If you cancel your spot, you will forfeit the full deposit at the time of cancellation.
2. If we are able to fill your forfeited spot from our waiting list up until 4 weeks prior you will only forfeit your full deposit at the time of cancellation.
3.If you cancel your child spot anytime after the final payment due date. Then you will forfeit the total cost of camp.
4. Final Payment Due Date: May 23rd, 2025.
** if camp is cancelled all payments will be refunded.
5. Failure to meet payment deadline will result in forfeiting your child spot to someone on the waitlist.
