In 1st and 2nd Samuel, we see Israel under the leadership of a human monarchy they so desperately thought they deserved. The leadership of Saul - who lived and ruled for human acceptance - is contrasted with the leadership of David - who lived and ruled with humility and a heart for God.
But ultimately, we see the foil of both rulers and are once again, pointed to the need for a king greater than what this earth has to offer.
Study with the women of SCG as we look at the books of Samuel.
