This session of SCG Discipleship is built around one simple, transformative idea: learning to Be WITH Jesus. When we learn to live in step with Him, we open the door for Him to shape us into who He created us to be.
And here's what you'll discover along the way: drawing close to Jesus always draws you closer to His people. You were never meant to follow after Jesus alone. You were made to grow in community, leaning on other believers who spur you forward when the road gets hard.
You're not the first to walk this road; you're joining a story already in motion. The book of Acts is where that story first comes to life. It's the thrilling, high-stakes account of the Church's birth: ordinary men and women who planted the first seeds of faith and watched them grow into a movement that would change the world forever.
In this study, we're going straight to the source, tapping into the rich heritage the first generation of Christians left for us. We'll dig into their "acts"—the habits, the practices, the everyday choices that made them strong enough for the mission Jesus set before them. Walk with the Apostles. Learn from the Early Church. And discover how their example still shows us the way to live fully WITH Jesus today.
