We have an awesome opportunity to be able to take our students this year to an Apologetic Conference!!!
Whether we realize it or not, everyone has a worldview. It’s your set of beliefs about the way the world actually is. It’s your picture of reality. And this belief system helps you answer the big questions of life: Where did I come from? What’s wrong with the world? Is there a solution? Why am I here? Christianity is a worldview, but it’s not the only worldview. It has competition. So how do we know which worldview, if any, is actually true?
The answer isn’t complicated: Check to see if it matches up with reality.
At the STR’s Reality Conference, they will show students that Christianity matches up with the way the world really is—with reality. It makes sense of the origin and design of the universe and life; the existence of objective truth and morality; the purpose, meaning, and value of human experience; the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus; and the existential longing of every human heart. In other words, we have reality on our side.
Now here is what you need to know parents!!
- We will be providing transportation for your kids. The kids need to meet at Seacoast Grace in front of the warehouse at 3:00pm on Friday September 24th and 8:00am on Saturday September 25th.
- It is a two day conference on September 24th & 25th.
- The first day time is between 4:00pm - 9:45pm
- The second day time is between 9:00am - 5:35pm
- The Conference takes place at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa
- They will be selling food on both days and well as merchandise like book and shirts. I would suggest giving your kids $60 in spending money.
- 6-12th Grade are able to go to this conference.
- The Cost will be $75 to cover their ticket and bus fee.
- The last day to pay in order to go is on September 10th by Friday at NOON.
- SPOT ARE ONLY REFUNDABLE IF WE CAN FIND ANOTHER PERSON TO TAKE YOUR SPOT.
