Ever heard the story of Lazarus? You know...the guy Jesus raised from the dead. Does it blow your mind that even though He knew the joy at the end of the story, Jesus stopped to cry with the people who were mourning when He came to Lazarus' tomb?
Join us this week as we hear from our friend Kyle Rice. Kyle is an officer for LAPD and founder of the homeless outreach ministry Project 54. Kyle will share a little of his own story with us and teach us how to sit in our own struggle (and with others in theirs) and not try to fix or hustle...but to follow Jesus example and weep with those who weep.
One of the MOST important parts of our recovery journey is building a community that can support and encourage us along the way. This week at SCG CR join us for our COMMUNITY DINNER. We'll be having a fall favorite...a hearty dinner of meat and potatoes as part of our program. You'll get a chance to learn, eat good food, and build relationships with those on the journey with you!
